Peel castle

Today we started the day with Manx kippers, and very nice they were too!
Then we went to the Peel festival. There was live music, food stalls, a procession, old cars etc.

We walked around Peel castle, an impressive ruin that dominates the town.
Peel has a lovely mix of old castle, nice beach, marina with lock and pedestrian swing bridge and small town.
