Good luck, Gustavo!

My crazy energetic son-in-law is participating in his first ever triathlon today - 1500m swim in a Scottish loch (brrr!), 42km cycle, then 10km run. This is after months weeks days hours of training.

His equally energetic cousin is taking part too. Perhaps the craziness enthusiasm is genetic? I'm sure that wonderful tome, 'The Scots, A Genetic Journey' (by Moffat and Wilson) could illuminate this. I bought this book for Gustavo a couple of years ago and he has raved about my choice of reading material ever since. Not.

Anyway, I hope they are now tri-umphant triathletes. Scotland the brave, and all that.....

Update: Gustavo completed his first triathlon in 2hr. 43min. Well done!!
