Walk home from the pub.

Had a v pleasant day today including coffee in town, followed by the park then happened to stop in the garden at the pub (under the heaters as it was bitterly cold!) for a cheeky glass of pink and cheesy chips.

This is the walk along the town end of the towpath towards home.

Alfie had his first overnight at Gagas which they loved and I hated! I know 2 1/2 is late to leave a first overnight away from us but his illness when he was tiny has made it that much harder. Even the 8 weeks in hospital we still slept under the same roof for all of it.

It just brought back too many memories of having to leave him in picu or on the ward when we went upstairs to the accomodation late at night.

We did have a lovely night out with a pizza and film though.
Mind you I still managed a sneaky late night kiss on our way home :-).
