Tower of London Poppies.

Today I was working in London at St Katharine Docks. Although it involved an early start and a fairly protracted rail trip, it did give me the opportunity for a walk past some of the sights on the way back. This scene shows volunteers placing thousands of ceramic poppies around the Tower of London, these are to remember the outbreak of the First World War, one hundred years ago. It was quite a sight to behold.
