The Quay, Glasgow

Glasgow was absolutely mobbed today.

We weren’t even able to get on the train into town and ended up on one of the shuttle buses that were being run.

Merchant City Festival was also in full swing today, so it was very crowded on top of all the people who are here for the games. (Not keen on crowds as only being a small fry, I tire of looking at people’s backs)!

We then took a wander down to Glasgow Green but there was an hour’s queue to get in due to the airport-type security systems in place. In the end, we walked for miles and miles down to the Quay where the BBC studios are across from the SECC, the Hydro and the Armadillo.

We saw the regatta and Eubers took a wee snap for me.

Great to live in Glasgow at this moment. Everyone in a really good mood, smiling and having fun.
