near the Maas river

Went to visit a friend who has just bought a boat and as an anchorage near Roermond (NL). From there, we took a small trip along the Maas (on a footpath right by the river) where we came upon this strange looking willow tree.

thins one day was like a small holiday. Nice and sunny, and being on/near the water was fun.
