Broken Dreams

There is a great sadness in seeing yet another business close, more dreams shattered.

So it was today when I passed Paparazzi, a trendy coffee bar, in Bridge of Allan, which opened a couple of years ago .

It brought a touch of glamour and Italian style to our small Victorian spa town.
But it was not to be.


Its closed and today I walked past and spotted these yellow plastic gloves on the counter.
There seemed to be something terribly poignant about the gutted cafe made more so by the photo of a Hollywood film still pasted on the once busy counter.

Meanwhile just along the road the second charity shop is about to open.
