Setting Moon

Its been a while since I did a moon blip and I've been waiting for the right conditions to try out my CCD camera. I still need to work on that but this is a good old fashioned straight out of the DSLR shot. The yellow tinge is due to the moon being fairly close to the horizon as it is this time of year indicating where the sun will skip along in a few months time.

Had a great time with the boys this afternoon. They have a new paddling pool so we invited some friends around for a rather civilised afternoon tea, well not that civilised but it was rather nice.
