Rib-bit!

Even though it was threatening rain we wanted to get out of the house for a while this afternoon.

So we headed for Jacobsburg State Park .... one of our favorite places. As soon as we got there we went directly to the frog pond in the butterfly garden.

There weren't a whole lot of frogs visible today ...... most jumped into the water upon our arrival.

Except this one.

As I was photographing him/her I noticed that he/she would occasionally open its mouth. Thankfully I didn't have long to wait for it to open its mouth again. You don't see that very often ..... well, at least I don't!

As I was posting this frog picture I realized that the last three days have been an animal of some sort. Happy times!
