Nuku Hiva: The Look

From arcadia in the central North Island of New Zealand (yesterday's 22 July blip) to ancient on Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia. What an amazing place, 3.5 hours flight from Tahiti and well worth the extra effort.

If you're on your honeymoon, sure, do the Tahiti - Mo'orea - Bora Bora packages, but if you want to find out about this area go further, launch into the Pacific Ocean.

The other amazing thing is, I actually have another 22 July blip due to crossing the dateline and getting another shot at Tuesday afternoon! Mind-bending.
