Hats and more hats...........

Down by the port in Helsinki, we visited a very different market. There were lots of stalls of various local handcrafts, reindeer skins, furs, knives and the most delicious berries and wild fungi. It was the knitted and felted hats that caught my eye, such vibrance and bright colour. These would have been made during the long, cold, dark winters. It did seem odd looking at warm hats in temperatures of 30 degrees!
