Summer partners

Osteospermum and agapanthus (African lily) are plants that normally cannot be pictured very successfully side by side because of the difference in height. However, using a polar filter I have achieved the impossible and created an impressionistic photo of these cheerful and resilient summer flowers. I aimed the camera straight down, on a wide-angle setting, at the funnel shaped blue flowers of the agapanthus with a container of multi-coloured osteospermum below.
