The War to End All Wars?

We happened to be in Preston Railway station when a ceremony took place remembering those who sacrificed their lives in World War 1 which started 100 years today. Preston remembered men who had worked on the railway who volunteered to go and fight in the Great War. Preston station was also important in that it provided a canteen for refreshments for thousands of men who came through the station on the way to the front. This man dressed in uniform reminded us of those men.
