Great day at the Commonwealth Games apart from the weather. Watched England defeat NZ to win the bronze hockey medal ( on penalties) and Australia beat India to win the gold. In all truth this is a game I do not recognise- unbelievably skilful, quick and athletic . Got caught in a torrential rain shower at the end of the hockey but managed to dry off in a café just off George Square and also managed to catch a bit of cycling .
Thought I'd blip a rarity - an English team who have just won a penalty shoot out .
