Small Globe Thistle and Bee

Work for TT and me - an all-day playdate for BB with his friend Miss E. She is moving away soon as her dad’s job has moved to London , so it was nice for them to spend the day together. BB has pronounced that next time we are on holiday in England we will go to visit Miss E!

Emergency blip from the garden – Echinops ritro or the small globe thistle. I have had to google this as I had no idea of its name. When I was growing up we called it a teasel, but I know it is not actually a teasel!
