To Stand To

About ten years ago this proud infantryman was badly vandalised. Someone must have thrown a stone and I can recall seeing him decapitated.

Not any more however. He was fully refurbished and I am glad to say that in the early morning light he was still paying his respects to the fallen in the Parish of Lezayre in the Isle of Man.
