Ringstead Bay

The National Trust and Dorset Countryside Volunteers joined forces in the spring to msake a new path from the coastal path down to the beach. The old path down Burning Cliff was obliterated by the land- and mud-slides of the last two years.

The excellent new route has opened up some patches of grassland that weren't accessible before. This patch has some nice flowers, like this carline thistle - which I haven't noticed at Ringstead before.
