Deer

Not dear! He was chewing on the Heather. We have a regular deer run through our property ; our land is not fenced. This is fine, as we endeavour to plant only things that deer so not like. This means that any pretty flowers we want have to be in hanging baskets, or on our deck which is inaccessible from outside. Of course our place is bland compared to the fenced neighbours, but we generally defer to the deer etc.
After all they were here before us.
