Dawn patrol

The gov thought it would be a good idea to get up early and be out on the marshes at 7.00am to see the birds coming in at first light.

So we got up early, got out just after 7 and found first light had beaten us to it.

However instead of going for an early full English, we had to walk three miles first and watch a few latecomers fly in to the marsh - obviously teenager geese as they couldn't get up in the morning.

They were birds anyway.......

The full English at 9 was really nice.
