Holiday jobs

Thanks to everybody for their kind comments, faves and stars on yesterdays shot.
I was really chuffed ;-)).

Today is BC Day, a holiday for us. And after two days of lounging around doing nothing in particular, I had to buckle down and finish some concreting.
There wasn't a lot of it to do so I could mix the "batter" using a trowel and a mixing paddle. That's what this photo is.

It's still smoking hot outside so anything that involves that Spanish fella, Manuel Labour, calls for copious quantities of liquid refreshment.
Which reminds me. My beer needs re-filling.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
