A midsummer's day

It's free transit day today, so we took advantage of this great opportunity to show the kids all kinds of public transit today.

We covered the North Shore and downtown by bus, sea bus and sky train in the span of a few hours. The kids loved the bus. Little A even started to sing "the wheels on the bus go round and round" on the bus, eliciting smiles from fellow passengers.

We managed to squeeze in some more shopping time before we headed to a birthday party. Kids went crazy there and successfully discharged all their energy before we went home.

Thank goodness we took the week off! I need that to recuperate.
