Crab Apples

I picked all the ripe crab apples from my new crab apple tree today in readiness to make some crab apple jelly with them.
I never thought when I bought the tree 4 weeks ago that it would produce fruit like this so soon and whilst still a young tree, I guess the recent hot sunny weather gas helped in the ripening process.
