Rear Window

Back to Hitchcock inspiration again. This photo was taken from my house out onto the back gardens. Its dusk so the light is low, but it allows for the delicious orangey/yellow squares of lit windows.

There is a mysterious mist in the air, and that is steam issuing from a nearby bathroom window. There is also water puddled on one of the roofs, which gives a hint of reflection. It looked a little 'filmic' to me and I thought I could just about capture it in the available light.

Just one thing that I have added to Hitchcock's view - a blue trampoline...what sinister deeds can take place there...?
