His Nana put Dinosaur tattoos on his legs and arms.
He beamed with pride.

He wore a yellow Beach Bum shirt we bought at Cracker Barrel.

We watched a magic show.
His Mom and sister smiling.

With great excitement and flourish,
He told me about jumping the "big waves".
His guide and protector, his Dad,
"Stood tall" with him in the ocean.

I saw a happy Dad
And a little boy
Having great fun all day.
