Chambery

We drove to Chambery today along D roads instead of the motorway. Lovely and you see so much more. We walked around the old part of the town which was quite pretty and had lunch there. We then went to a huge Carrefour for supplies. We seemed to spend hours there looking at all at the interesting things for sale. We couldn't find the equivalent of double cream for gratin dauphinois though.

Santana's son and fiancee arrive later today for a couple of days and we will no doubt talk about their wedding next May.
