Adelaide Rosella

Another regular visitor to my back yard.

The Adelaide Rosella (Platycercus adelaidae) is endemic to South Australia.

This was thought to be a separate species, but is presently believed to have originated through interbreeding of the Crimson and Yellow Rosellas.
