I love cherries and always buy lots while in season, they always remind me of when I worked in an office in Perth and a man from another office in the building was always singing the song.
The song was introduced by Ethel Mermen in George Whites Scandals in 1931 long before my time I may add. The song has been revived over the years by different singers and was in the top ten charts for 5 weeks.
