Daphne

A late afternoon foray into the garden found my daphne bush blooming nicely and with it, the most divine scent.

One day I would like to plant a garden for those plants that I love to smell. I'd call the garden 'Heaven Scent' and daphne would take a prominent position. I'd also include erlicheer, stocks, freesia, hyacinths, lily-of-the-valley, dianthus and carnations, a few roses, wintersweet......I could go on.

For now though - just daphne, a few erlicheer and the hint of some freesia. A fine start.
