Opening ceremony at Kainalo

At around 8pm the sun starts to shine at Kainalo and it will shine on brightly until setting behind island Korpisaari.

A built a nice terrace at Kainalo during my art week by the seaside, and today finally we got my mother, my sister Eija and her daughter Susanna to visit us for an official opening ceremony.

Also Markku, the neighbouring farmer and a childhood friend, stopped by to check whether he would manage to empty our wastewater tank. Turned out the hose in his tractor was too short, so he could not, so we invited him to join our little party at Kainalo.

Our wastewater tank overflowed today, so we definitely need to get someone here to empty it!
