CommonMetallicLonghorn(Promeces longipes)

We discovered this little 'warrior' at the front door this afternoon! He wears armour, hard as stone!! Check his long nose! ;-)

The most interesting thing about him is the fact that he just simply falls over, lying on his side, acting dead, as soon as you touch him!! I posted it here for you to see!! :~)

He grows to about 8mm in length, quite a small beetle! Aparently feeding on Euphorbia mauritanica(succulents). There is not much to find on him on the Internet thoough! I think he is quite a shy guy!
