Anni Mamundi

Balloon before sunset...

...An event at a National Trust property.
Rain had threatened to spoil the event but it didn't.
Brits are used to this, and all were well prepared to enjoy a barbecue under a variety of umbrellas (some cleverly lodged in branches of trees, hands-free!).
Pac-a-macs unite :-)

The sunset which followed was spectacular.

At Mundi Towers we have had a succession of visitors.
From less than one year old to over 86 (the visitors, not me...
Although, don't ask me how old I feel today).

We're now putting our house back together.
Not owing to mess, but owing to having moved our table and chairs to accommodate a large number. Peter Kay is right about 'emergency chairs'!
We've been in the loft to find ours.
We (hosts) sat on the ones where your chin touches the table.
Anyone else notice how if you don't have children-size chairs, they won't sit.
And if you DO have children-size chairs, they want to sit on the best adult chairs, the ones you've earmarked for Grandma and Grandpa?
Anyway, they're back on the landing (the chairs) awaiting one of us having enough energy to climb the loft ladder. Who will trip up over them enough to cave first? :-)

I'm so behind with comments I can't even imagine catching up now.
But I'm planning to stay present.
