The Eric Morecambe statue

Today it was a trip to Wrightington hospital, Wigan, for a further check on Doreen's new knuckle which went well, she is beginning to bend the finger a lot more. It is wonderful what can be done today..
Returning home we decided to go into Morecambe for a snack lunch. Although not a very original blip I took this shot of the wonderful Eric Morecambe statue. I had to wait a while as I wanted a shot of Eric alone. He and Ernie used to sing 'Bring me Sunshine' and certainly did that today again giving us that lovely view across the bay.
