Fill 'er up please.....

Twenty years ago it wasn't at all unusual for country hotels and even some lodges to have their own fuel pumps. Then came new legislation which forced many to replace their underground storage tanks and it no longer became viable to keep them running.

Headed home this morning and fortunately the mighty Soob had plenty of fuel so didn't have to hang about this old petrol pump for too long. We had a magnificent weekend and were looked after wonderfully well by our hosts. The glorious weather of yesterday turned a bit and it was rain that accompanied us for the drive home. A lovely weekend.
