TATERSHALL CASTLE

We drove to Lincolnshire this morning and visited Tatershall Castle (National Trust). It claims to be the finest medieval brick built castle in England. Built in1434 by Ralph Lord Cromwell, Treasurer to Henry 6th, it was saved from demolition by Lord Curzon in 1911. It certainly was a beautiful building.

We checked into our hotel and after a relaxing afternoon are now off to have our evening meal.
