Autumnal August

Since last week the weather doesn't know if its coming or going. Saturday wild winds, Sunday torrential rain, yesterday thunder & lightning. Today thought it was October till about 6 o'clock when the sun came out (with a sou'wester on).

Most of the garden has panicked shedding flowers, dropping leaves and urgently setting seed before the frosts of winter hit. Pretty miserable really.
