Walking near Avebury

Today I discovered that - despite me living in Marlborough for 18 years - my father had never visited Avebury. So we decided our walk would take in the World Heritage Site.

We actually had two goes at the walk as our first attempt was thwarted by lashing rain within five minutes of leaving the car. We returned early evening for a long walk taking in all of the site and much of the surrounding primitive windswept landscape.

This is the last leg of the walk, with my father leading the way.
