Results!

Today was the day that L got his exam results. Due to the wonders of technology there was no waiting around for the mail to arrive; they were delivered by e-mail by 5 a.m. And text by 8a.m. And just to make sure by snail mail at about noon!

It's by far the earliest start he's had all holidays but it was worth it. He did so well; couldn't have done better and we are so very proud of him.

So it's been a day of special requests on the food front for the studious one; more buttermilk pancakes, homemade pizza and Malteser slice. I think he probably deserves a bit of indulgence!

A wee run this afternoon in the sun was a healthy end to the day!
