Ukulele - originated in the 19th century as a Hawaiian interpretation of the machete, a small guitar-like instrument taken to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants. The tone and volume varies with size & come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone. This is a tenor with a low G. One day I'll find out how to play it properly.
