A journey through Zogland

Bluebells on the steps of the Concert Hall

If you walk round Glasgow at lunch time, your ears are often attacked by pre-primary buskers, off-tune fiddlers or heaven forbid, the manky Clanadonia, who have as much skill as a house brick and believe that if you thump a drum hard enough and dress up in sugar bags you automatically become a Scottish icon. Dream on. However, I digress.

Today, walking round on to Buchy Street, the music sounded as if it was being played by somebody who could actually play their instruments. I stopped to listen (something I rarely do). It was only once they started their sig tune I realized it was The Bluebells. What a brightener on my day. Thank you guys.
