The Thinker

After yet another fabulous breakfast we drove over to Loch Morlich with the bikes and the plan was to cycle round the Loch. We forget that Ben's bike is small and he has to peddle three circuits to our one! He was fine, till it started to rain, and the sniffles started, so him and I headed back while Cameron followed his Papa round the Loch and we met back at the Car Park.

The rain cleared up so we decided to go out to Abernethy Wood to the Osprey Centre and was rewarded by seeing the mother bring home a fish for one of the chicks. It was an amazing sight to see. The wood here is absolutely beautiful, and need to return and spend more time walking in it.

Promised the boys ice cream so we drove the short drive to Boat of Garten, and went into the Boat Hotel for the ice cream. It was served on long rectangular plates, with sauce that was Yuk according to Cameron.

Afterwards we had a lovely walk round the station which involved Ben sniffing the air for the delicious smell of diesel ;-) There was loads to see, especially for a train mad wee boy.....

Last night in hotel and there was a disco on in the ballroom for the kids. They could go up on the stage to request a song and Ben was up for his current favourite, Gangman Style! Great fun!
