Clearing out

The ongoing clearing out of my 'studio' is continuing slowly. I came across this today which was given to me many years ago. It is a belt from a debutante's dress which was refused as the debutante said there was a flaw in the silk. My friend , Dick, was a fabric buyer at Liberty of London where this was made and he had kept it for years as he thought it was wrong that it was going in the bin! I've had it around 20 years now. I keep considering framing it and putting it on display but colour wise it doesn't really go with our decor. Any ideas what else I could do with it?
