Bee Fly (I think).
As I have said before I am not good with insect identification. One thing I know for certain is that this isn't a bee. A bee would be holding its wings close to its body (along the length) and would have two pairs. If anyone can offer a definitive identification please do.
A day of jobs round home and the Buddleia was the only opportunity. It isn't known as "Butterfly Bush" for nothing! However I chose not to use one of the butterflies as I think I may need to fall back on a butterfly blip later in the season.
