OLD BRANDELHOW

We decided to have a relatively flat walk alongside Derwent Water today after our ascent of Sale Fell yesterday. The track leading up to this old cottage caught my eye especially as it was being dwarfed by the hill, Old Brandelhow. We carried on to the south end of the Lake and stopped for a well earned rest and lunch at a local cafe. Once refreshed, we retraced our steps, stopping for more photographs on the way!
