Today I have completed 1500 consecutive days of posting images in my Blipfoto journal!!

I originally started to see if I could do 100, then 365, and then I was hooked!! It is now as much a part of my day as is brushing my teeth.

I have had the odd day when I really did not feel like taking pictures or nothing had presented itself. Also in the first year I had a 5 day sojourn in hospital but I made sure my camera was with me!

It has been a fabulous journey of self discovery. Along the way I have made friends with many people around the world and it is so wonderful to see the world through other people's eyes! Sometimes you are living parts of their lives. Such a privilege.

I also enjoy the informal challenges put up by individual members or groups of members, especially the MonoMonday gang who have given me the pleasure of hosting for the month of August!
