Not all we hoped

There's a local band: Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, with a well-deserved fanatical following. Said Roger Clyne, sans the Peacemakers, was doing a solo acoustic show at our local pub as part of the tapping party for a new brew. I pushed-off early so we could make the show. Sadly, there was a scheduling snafu - he started early, a few minutes before we arrived rather than 35 minutes later, and he only played about three songs before shuffling off to wherever. He was good though and we stayed for a bit of late afternoon boozing on a "school day". It just seems to taste better when you're supposed to be working.
