BC day

Early morning and sleepless, because of the jetlag and the beauty of Vancouver harbour. The first sun rays are coming in, the seaplane fleet and the floating (!) filling station have not yet started their daily business. On the way to the pier is the cruise ship Disney Wonder and on a totally different scale of size a rowing skiff.

We only realised later that today was a public holiday - BC (British Columbia) day. Being a wonderful and hot summer day, we had the impression that the whole city population was outside and enjoying themselves. Together with our friends we rented bikes and cycled the famous seawall around Vancouver having a gorgeous time.
