Birdie in the tree

We were disturb from our normal work pattern by the puppy who decided to use a new deeper bark today. We wondered what had happened, had he hurt himself or got caught in something no he was fine . It was the presence of two kookaburras that perched in our fruit trees that caused the disruption. We normally hear them at first and last light of the day, but never actually seen them. Needless to say someone was kept away from them until they had left.
