WW1 Memories and Treasures

My great uncle Charles John Barton died on 05 November 1917, I don't have the details of his death but he is buried in a CWGC plot in Basra, Iraq.

This Holy Bible was given to him, in 1916, as a present by his very good friend Ibrahim. Wish I had some details of his family, it would be marvellous to be able to talk to them about Ibrahim who was obviously a very good friend to Charles.

The translation of the Arabic (I speak but don't read  Arabic) was done for me by a friend of mine in Jeddah, Bassm Jabr, who I knew through Baud Telecom.
