Wheat crop

Wheat arrived in Britain 6,000 years ago where it was well suited to our climate so much so that we were exporting the grain to Europe before the Romans arrived here! We now produce 15 million tonnes of which a quarter is exported globally.

Our harvest is going well so far owing to the fantastic weather and not too many breakdowns either. The men leave in the morning and are supplied with picnics during the day before their return to a late meal at night!

There is going to be another run of backblips as I lost my uploader and had to eventually buy another one!
