Salamanca

Plaza Mayor in Salamanca is the largest of Spain's plazas. What's most impressive though is the cost of a beer and a glass of wine on the terrace, which will only set you back €3.60. Try that out in Venice's St Mark's Square and you'll be taking out a loan. There is an abundance of churches, two cathedrals and various plazas and monuments but, being a university city there is also a lot of watering holes. One for every atom in the universe apparently. We only got around half of them last night.
